The Content Library allows users to create and store reusable content parts that can be easily added to multiple Production and Story pages.
Key benefits include centralized content management and automatic updates across all pages. Users can create various content items, select them from a drop-down when editing Pages, and customize their appearance. This feature is particularly useful for items like contact information and banners that need to be displayed on multiple pages.
The Content Library is a place where you can create and store all kinds of content parts in a central place. These parts can then be used on multiple pages, as many times as you like.
Advantages of a Content library part:
- You can easily create content that can be used on multiple places without having to copy-paste content
- You can change the content in one central place, and it will automatically change everywhere you use the part
How to create a Content library item
Go to Stories > Content library:

You can create all sorts of content items in the Content library:

After you have chosen what kind of content item you want to create, you will find all the layout options that are available for that type of content:

Content library items work similar to normal page parts. Just add the content you need and click Save to create your content library item.
Adding a Content library item to a Story Page
When working on any Page or Story, select the Content library" part from the part drop-down:

After you add the Content library part to your Page or Story, open it to select which item from the Content library you want to display. All available items can be chosen from the Content drop-down:

Here you can also change the padding [pTop / pBottom] and background colour [bgcolor], make sure to match the content of the Library item to the current page.
Here is an example of the same Content Library item added twice to the same page (which you will probably never do), with a different background colour for each. Note that the content is exactly the same, because it is the same Content library item:

This part can be used on any page you want. If you want to change the layout or content, go to your Content Library and make your changes there. Every page that uses the Content library item will automatically adapt to the changes.
Adding a Content library item to a Production
Similar to adding a Content library item to a Page, you can add a Content library item with to one or multiple specific Productions.
On the Production page in the Dashboard, select your Content library part from the list.
You can add multiple Content library items here. They will display underneath each other on the Production page.

How to change the Location of the Content library Part on Production Pages
Production pages all use the same layout or โtemplateโ. Where on the Production page the Content library part are displayed will depend on the order of the Parts on the Production detail โtemplateโ.
To change the order, go to System > Routes & Parts > Production detail (website_show_detail).
Here you can change the order of the parts by dragging and dropping using the 6 dots at the end:
