E-tickets for Cross-sells (v164)

Cross-sell events are now synced and added to the e-tickets, ensuring that visitors receive very complete e-tickets for their night out, without having to download or open multiple e-tickets. This should also help with scanning at the door because it provides a nice overview on one single page.

Cineville codes (v162)

When using Cineville, the filled in codes will be transferred to Itix in the order ("Add Booking") data.

Secure tickets (v156)

Secure tickets are away to make it harder for ticket buyers to resell the e-tickets to others. E-tickets can be made secure by postponing the release of the barcode to just before the event starts. If there is no barcode, it is impossible to print a complete e-ticket and this makes it very hard to sell the ticket to somebody else.

Secure tickets show up in the Online order history with a special notice in stead of a barcode:

To activate secure tickets for a particular event, in Itix fill in the "Tickets available from" field in the event. This is the number of minutes before the show starts that the barcode should be made available (leave it on 0 to have the barcode available directly).

Payment link (v151)

A payment link generated in Itix, will open a page on the Peppered website, where the visitor can pay with all the payment options that are available in Pay or Mollie. The payment is a simple amount and payment, with no other options (it’s not possible to change the order). After booking the confirmation e-mail is handled by Itix.

After payment:

Donation product (v151)

It’s now possible to use an Itix product as a donation. In the dashboard you can create different preset amounts for the donation product for the visitor to choose.

Dynamic Itix discounts (v148)

Dynamic Itix discounts based on privileges and cart content. When an Itix discount is active, the discount will be adapted by the Peppered cart. Discounts are shown in the order process.

In the Itix API some extra options are available to let Itix be in charge of discounts. This means that the website will adapt to the ticket prices and discounts as managed by Itix.

To access this feature, activate it in your control panel (in the "ticketing" group):

After each step in the Peppered order process, there is an extra check to Itix to obtain the new total of the order. Any active discount rule in Itix will be communicated to the website and shown directly after a seat booking:

There are several ways a discount can be managed in Itix;

  • Itix can give out discounts based on "privileges" (what Peppered calls "Visitor tags"), so logged in visitors will automatically get the discount in Itix when they have this privilege in Itix.
  • Itix can also give discounts based on what events are in the basket.
  • Itix can also give discounts via discount codes. For this to work we added a new Itix discount code field in the order process, just above the payment options. This code needs to be filled in after all seats have been booked, and the discount will be visible directly after validation:
