SSO 2.0: Smarter, more reliable login (v225 - February 2026)
What changed?
- Tixly's single sign-on completely rebuilt with improved synchronisation.
- Visitors get a smoother, more reliable experience managing their account across your website and Tixly.
- New presale time slot feature gives you more flexibility in releasing tickets to different audience segments.
What's new:
- Patrons can now access a personalised account area within your website.
- Reliable synchronisation of login status between your website and Tixly.
- Logout option directly in the website account.
- Temporary landing page when returning from Tixly login (prevents unnecessary page reloads).
- Wishlist support in the new account section lets patrons save events and receive notifications when tickets go on sale.
- Newsletter opt-in management allows patrons to manage preferences for multiple newsletters, synced back to Tixly.
- Personal pages menu in account section.
- Time slot-based presale planning.
- Opt-in management.
- "My Agenda" overview of purchased events.
How do I use it?
- Your visitors will automatically benefit from these improvements – no action needed on your part.
- To active the Wish list go to Control panel > Wish list
SSO (Single sign on) (v176 - April 2023)
What changed?
- Visitors can log in to the sites and their details and items in the shopping cart are recognised.
- we now store all data that we receive from Tixly in our database and any Visitor Tags are enabled during a session, so that you can actually use them for marketing purposes. This includes assigning Visitor Tags, setting the Advanced Visibility and using the Query Builder.
How do I use it?
- No action needed - new features are available in your Dashboard.
Tixly Price updater (v160 - May 2022)
What changed?
- The price updater now retrieves the Tix sales URL for each event.
- The prices and sales URL will be retrieved from Tixly if you enter a Tix event box office ID.
How do I use it?
- No action needed - procedure runs automatically. A sales URL will not be overwritten if a sales URL already exists.
- You can manually execute the procedure using the "import pricing" option on the event overview and detail pages in your Dashboard.
