Maintenance

The Maintenance module can be used to block access to all website areas that communicate with the ticketing software. This covers login pages, personal accounts, baskets and the purchase path. Useful when you want Visitors to still be able to browse the website but not access the Ticketing System, either during system upgrades, planned maintenance or unexpected situations when ticketing needs to be taken off sale.

By scheduling a message you can prepare this in advance and tell your website visitors about the situation. The message will show up when trying to access all places mentioned above.

Go to Dashboard > System > Maintenance to schedule a maintenance message. whole website or only the order process on maintenance (in case of a bug in the ticketing system for instance) and to display a message on the maintenance page.

For big updates on your website we usually set the queue of the website to 0. This means that the website is not available anymore. This can be handy for certain test steps before setting the website live again.

In this case you can schedule a "notice in queue" via the Queue module.

⚠️
Take note! When the queue is active, the website will still be available via the Dashboard. In the "Queueing" module there is the function "Bypass queue" which is used during maintenance to control the website.
