The Order module is a log for all online orders.
It has an extensive search feature which allows you to quickly find the order you are looking for.
You can search by date, and also include any order status or other property, as displayed in the checkboxes.
You can also perform a search on order ID (the ID in the box office) or email address of the visitor connected to the order.
As the logging of the online order data stops after the order is completed (or canceled), it should always be seen as a snapshot frozen in time. Any changes that are made to the order in the ticketing system afterwards will not be updated in the online order logs.
Therefor, the main purpose of the module is to provide insight as to what happened during the online purchase, including what events were involved, ticket info, and the final status of the order.
Orders can be started, abandoned, canceled, pending, failed and successful.
The details of each order can be found when opening a specific order.
Order information
The first section displays general information about the Visitor, the orderID and the date and time.
It includes links to the visitors online tickets, the Visitor in the Visitors Dashboard module, and a preview of the confirmation email that was sent (only when order was successful).
Tickets
Here all the information is stored about the Events in the order and the seats that were chosen.
If there was a problem with the order not properly completing in the ticketing system, this will give you valuable data about what a Visitor tried to purchase.
Payments
This contains all the information about actual payments being made and also logs the response from the Payment Service Provider (PSP), and a link to the transaction in the PSP Dashboard if possible.
Logs
The logs display a detailed step by step process of every activity during the order. This can provide useful data if there were issues with the purchase. All errors are logged here, including errors received from the ticketing system. These can provide great insight as to why an order failed.
Logs are ordered with the most recent action on top.
