The cancellation survey (for Itix and Ovatic users) is integrated into the “My e-tickets” page. This option can be activated in the Control Panel > Ticketing > Cancel events via API setting.
When activated, the button “Edit/Cancel” will show up at the top right in the list of ordered events:
This button activates the cancellation forms. A cancellation form will only appear when it is activated for this event in the box office system. Once a cancellation option is active, it will show various options underneath the event:
Itix Options
Not all options that are available in Itix are available on the website. For example, a partial donation and partial refund combined are not possible due to the complexity of such forms.
The options Peppered currently support:
- Keep the tickets for a new date = “behoud” in Itix
- Full refund = “excasso” in Itix. Itix will handle the refund
- Temporary personal balance = “speciaal tegoed” in Itix
- Personal balance = “standaard tegoed” in Itix
- Donation = “Donatie” in Itix

Ovatic Options
First, activate the options in Ovatic:
The “cancel” button (change/cancel) will automatically show the personal Agenda in the top right.
This button will request all cancellation options for each event in your personal Agenda and display the options:
After submission, the cancellation is immediately processed by Ovatic.
Cancellation options:
- Donate the amount to the venue
- Refund the amount as a personal balance
- Hold my seats (only when the entire event is cancelled)
- Refund to my bank account
The option “refund to my bank account” is handled by Peppered using the Mollie Connect API. More information in the Refunds article.
